I studied engineering at UBC, and have management consulting work experience in capital project advisory, providing strategic advice for early stage and pre-operations megaprojects. I also have experience building, and selling computer vision products for manufacturing safety. I self-taught machine learning, reinforcement learning, finance and portfolio optimization through a mixture of textbooks, Coursera, and YouTube, in support of research and personal projects.

I used to have fancy charts approximating my relative skills, but as gratifying as those animations were, I found it didn’t give the full picture. Instead, I have some fun-stats at the bottom of the page.
